Walking For Water 2015
Every year St. Louis School organises a fund raising event that will provide latrines, wells and sanitation education for schools overseas.
The money that we raised this year, will go to two rural schools in particular: Hungamuwa and the Tamil Hevanpitiya (Sri Lanka).
In two years our students have raised over €3000 and this year there were many volunteers willing to walk 6 kilometers, carrying 6 litres of water on their backs in the Parco Sempione (Milan) the 21st of March.
This charity event not only raises money but increases awareness what people from all over the world have to go through everyday just to get some water that will help them with their primary needs.
We walk for water, do you?
