During this year’s Mediterranean Cup, held in Verona (Italy), from the 27th to the 29th October, our young female team navigated through the Champions Group. They had the immense opportunity to compete against the most talented females around the world, showing their strength and passion for the sport. Team Standings:
After completing 12 games in the Champions Group, our team secured a solid third place with an impressive total of 4 wins. This position reflects the hard work, dedication, and skill that each player has brought to the field throughout the season.
Individual Contributions:
A standout player in the squad, Martina Fabbri, showcased her versatility and prowess by contributing significantly to the team’s success. Additionally, her personal performance was marked by 4 goals and 2 assists, solidifying her impact on both ends of the pitch.
Matilde Spada emerged as a goal-scoring sensation, finding the back of the net an impressive 7 times during the course of the tournament. Her ability to deliver under pressure was crucial to the team’s offensive capabilities.
