Inauguration of our new High School
On Thursday 28th of November we celebrated our school’s official opening at our new campus in Palazzo Archinto.
We were pleased to have been joined in the cutting of the ribbon by Laura Galimberti, Head of Education for the Milan Council (Assessora all’educazione e istruzione) and Dr Stephen Spurr, Education Chairman for the Inspired Group.
Speeches were delivered by our Executive Principal, Mr Rafferty; Mr Lawless, Deputy Headteacher; Ms Verani, Deputy Headteacher IGCSE Years; Mrs Rafferty, Deputy Headteacher IB Years; Dr Ledermann, CEO Europe for Inspired; Dr Spurr and art historian, Lorenza Rotti Ciccarelli who discussed the history of our building.
Our newly appointed Head Students, Alberto and Anna both gave passionate speeches about their inspirations and aspirations.
The morning inauguration was followed by a reception in the evening where parents and staff attended. Former student Federica Gargarella spoke at the ceremony about her successes since leaving St Louis and the importance of an IB education. This was followed by Prof Colautti’s speech.
